Hamish specialises in the provision of advisory services regarding electricity market design, electricity market modelling and the procurement of renewable generation. He has supported electric utilities and their investors and lenders, regulators, ministries of energy, system operators, market operators, single buyers, lines companies, and other electricity industry organizations in more than forty countries and in approximately twenty-five states of the US. Hamish has led many investment analyses, cost-benefit analyses, electricity market due diligence, regulatory strategy and valuation assignments, and has provided market and regulatory strategy advice to numerous utilities in the electricity industry.  Hamish holds a Bachelor of Science in operations research from the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. He speaks fluently in English.
