Oscar Ng brings a strong quantitative skill to his research, modelling and analysis of economics and market fundamentals. For the past three years, he has been the key modeler behind cost-of-service restructuring and tariff reform for various Malaysian power utilities.  In addition, he is experienced in financial modelling for gas assets, tariff benchmarking, solar market sizing, power dispatch modelling, generation mix optimisation, and commercial due diligence in the renewables space.  Prior to joining TLG, his work included shockwave physics research for nuclear fusion power plant, strategic planning on improving motor manufacturing process, and statistical analysis on leakage current.  Oscar holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University, Canada.  He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
